Hunt Test Sept 9 – 10, 2017

We had 58 dogs entered and ran 56 dogs.

36 of the 56 dogs qualified for a ribbon.

We had a lot of help, great food, beautiful weather
and great dogs, we had dogs who finished their title and an Advanced Master

Hunt Test September 9th & 10, 2017

Get your entries in for another great event GSPCO/OAK RIDGE POINTING DOG CLUB
this is a dual event you can run your dog with both clubs both days.
Last day for entries is September 5, 2017
We could use help, also donations of salads or desserts would be greatly appreciated.
Not running your dog! come out and enjoy some great times with a great group of
people and also enjoy some great food.

Sept 2nd & 3rd, 2017 Walking Trial

Deadline coming soon, Monday August 28, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.  Get your entries in for the Walking Trial.

Come join us as we kick off the Fall field trial season with our 2 day walking trial this coming Labor Day weekend, Saturday and Sunday September 2nd and 3rd. The trial will be held at the Oakridge Pointing Dog grounds in Harrisville PA.
Come out for the day or spend Friday and Saturday. The grounds allow for dry camping as no water or electric hookups are available. Although water is available for dogs and horses. There are area hotels/motels available, please see the list on our website gspcofohio.org under events info.
Following Saturday’s events we will gather for social/happy hour followed by a catered dinner, cost is $10.00pp. Our club members are known for their wonderful cooking skills so please feel free to bring an appetizer or dessert to share.
After dinner we will have a raffle to help offset expenses incurred for this weekend so donations of raffle items would be much appreciated. Breakfast and lunch will also be available Saturday and Sunday. If your interested in participating or can help out with food/raffle items please contact:

10 Day notice of meeting. GSPCO will hold the July meeting on August 5, 2017 at Crooked Creek Conservation Club, 4323 St. Rt. 534, Hartsgrove Ohio Board will meet at 10:30 AM, Membership will meet at 11:00 AM. This meeting is actually the July meeting which is being held on Versatility Day.

GSPCO VERSALITY DAY – SATURDAY AUGUST 5

Crooked Creek Conservation Club
4323 St Rt. 534, Hartsgrove, Ohio

The club will be holding it’s annual Versatility Day on Saturday, August 5th starting around 10.00 AM
until late afternoon. Come on out for a day of working with your dogs & puppies and visiting with fellow
members. You can do or learn about field work, hunt tests, retrieving, agility, water retrieves, nose work
or what ever you want to work on. Club members will be available to assist with whatever you need. Birds
will be available for purchase. There will be a potluck cookout after a short meeting (bring a dish or desert to share)
the club will provide the hot dogs or brats and hamburgers. Come for the day or a couple of hours. This day is open
to club members and guests.

The Crooked Creek Conservation Club is located at 4323 State Route 534 in Hartsgrove, Ohio which is 2 miles north of Hartsgrove Square

Hunt test request for help

Members: Need help for May 6 & 7th Hunt Test. Our raffle will be a Booze Box we need

donations of bottles of booze, if you would like to donate, I will be in Tri-Valley at the

end of the month or you could call me for pick up.

We are looking for a gunner, and helpers in the field and kitchen both.

Hunt Test May 6th & 7th: Premium Available

The GSPC of Ohio is having a Hunt Test at the Oak Ridge Pointing Dog Club grounds.

It will be held on May 6th & 7th, below is the link to the Premium and letter. It’s a great way for new members to introduce their dog into competition. The entire Hunt Test is viewable from an above observation platform so it is fun to watch these dogs run through their tests.
